The rules at camp have been passed on for generations, as well as have added and improved upon as the world changes, allowing Camp Bratton-Green to maintain their top priority: safety.
Some basic rules include:
- The rules of three (groups must travel around camp in groups of three in order to promote safety and accountability)
- All participants must wear shoes when outside (a result of a tornado in the 90s that left debris scattered around the property)
- All participants must stay within the respected boundaries of camp (Cabin 3-C, the road, the lake), unless they are accompanied by a certified staff member(s) leading an activity.
Non-negotiables (these things will result in participants being sent home:
- All drugs (tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes) are strictly prohibited from CBG
- All alcohol is strictly prohibited from CBG
- All fireworks and weapons are strictly prohibited from CBG
- All sexual content and conduct is strictly prohibited from CBG
